On February 6, 2025, a motivational speech on “Her Path, Her Power: Journeys of Women Entrepreneurs” was conducted at Dheeram Convention Hall at 2:30 PM.
The program commenced with a prayer song and Tamilthai Valthu, performed by students, followed by the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku by the dignitaries. Ms. R. Swetha, III BE CSE, warmly welcomed the gathering.
Shri CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Institutions, honored the guest speakers with shawls and mementos. In his address, he extended his best wishes to the students, encouraging them to listen attentively to the guest speakers’ experiences. He urged them to gather valuable insights and apply them in their personal and professional lives.
Ms. S. Parvatambika, I B.Sc. (CS), introduced the first guest speaker, Mrs. Divya Hariharan, Executive Director of Megawin Switchgear Pvt. Ltd. In her keynote speech, she emphasized that entrepreneurship is about transforming potential into opportunity and creating real value in business. She motivated students to maintain a positive attitude and assured them that with perseverance, they could recognize and harness their inner potential. She also highlighted that women entrepreneurs take financial risks to achieve their goals.
Ms. N. Shalini, III Cyber Security Engineering, introduced the second guest speaker, Ms. S.A. Udhaya Bharathi, Director of Aerospace Engineers. In her address, she underscored the importance of believing in oneself and stated that women are the architects of their own destiny. She encouraged young women to step into leadership roles with confidence and passion, highlighting that women entrepreneurs are adaptable and have strong emotional intelligence.
Ms. M.J. Neahashree introduced the third guest speaker, Ms. Pavai Sivakumar, Founder & CEO of Living Retail Space. She spoke about how women entrepreneurs persevere through challenges and adapt to changing circumstances. By bringing a fresh perspective, they can identify needs and challenges that others may overlook. She also emphasized the importance of resilience in overcoming obstacles, noting that challenges create opportunities for learning and growth. Additionally, she stressed the value of building strong professional networks for success.
Our beloved Correspondent, Smt. Mangai Natarajan, addressed the gathering, inspiring students to excel in their careers. Special thanks were extended to Dr. N. Ezhil, Principal, for organizing this impactful conclave at our institution.
A total of 108 students from other colleges participated in the conclave and were awarded participation certificates.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. V.S. Nithyashree, II MA English, followed by the National Anthem.
