The Department of Chemistry conducted an Association Activity on 02.02.2024 on the topic “CHEM FUSION” in Keerthi Hall at 12.00 pm. The students of the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Nutrition and Dietetics and Geology participated in this activity.
Suvitha of III B.Sc. Chemistry explained about the flavours receptor in mouth that responds by producing signals interpreted by brain as sensation of taste on the topic “FOOD FLAVOURS” through a Power Point Presentation. Next a memory game was conducted by displaying chemistry apparatus pictures by M. Dhanushiya of II B.Sc. Chemistry. A quiz game was also conducted about the acid present in various foods. Students eagerly participated and gained knowledge about the acids. They also enjoyed the games that tested their memory power.
