Dr. P. MAHALAKSHMI, Assistant professor with five years of experience teaching undergraduate and post graduate courses in Geology and Earth Science. Her research contributed in the field Geology, Micro Paleontology, Civil Engineering -Engineering Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS. She has awarded her doctoral degree at university of Madras in the year of 2015.
The Doctoral thesis of Mahalakshmi is titled as Distribution and Ecology of Ostracoda in the Sediments of Pulicat Lagoon, Tamil Nadu at University of Madras, Chennai. Her research works has published in reputed national and international journals. Her research work has been cited by so many other authors. She has been delivered so many invited talk at national and international conferences. She has attended some training programmed with Geological mapping and industrial workshops.
She worked with SSM College of Engineering as Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering from January 2015 and Handled the subjects of Fundamentals of Remote Sensing and GIS, Basic civil Engineering. Acting as Class Advisor for III Year Petrochemical Technology Students. Incharge for AICTE (All India Council for Technical education).
Actively participate in continued learning through conferences and professional research. Believe in students’ abilities to learn and inherent thirst for knowledge with the right environment. Actively work to connect students to their material to transform lives.
