On 23.02.2024 a motivational speech on “வனிதையே.. வாகைசூடு….” was conducted in Anantha Arangam at 2.00 p.m. The programme commenced with the prayer song and Tamilthai Vazhthu by students followed by lighting the Kuthuvilakku by the dignitaries. C.A.Preethika of III B.Com. C.A. welcomed the gathering.
Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, the Chairman of Paavai Institutions honored the Guest Speaker with shawl and memento and presided over the function. In his presidential address he wished all the students to excel in their career by choosing right path and traveling with confidence.
Ms. A.Vedhavarshini of III B.A. English introduced the Guest Speaker Mrs.K.Naganandhini, Director of Vethathiri Speech Cognitive Development Centre, Pattimandram/Motivational Speaker. The Guest Speaker in her keynote address stated that the students of Paavai, with self-confidence should reach for heights, achieve and bring pride to their college. She said that society is a matriarchal society in which women are the source of life. She added that a woman is mentally tireless and powerful who faces problems with courage, authority and personality. She then said that women have the natural ability to protect themselves and others in the face of adversity. She probed the students to grab the opportunities without wasting time, create their own unique identity with fighting spirit and in-built skills to succeed and make the society recognize them and set a precedent for the next generation. She stimulated the students to face criticism and obstacles that come their way, strive hard to achieve to expose their individuality and talent. She then declared that society listen only the words of succeeded people and advised girl students not to listen to false praise and deceitful words. She concluded her speech by wishing the students all the best to progress as winners.
Later, trophies and certificates were distributed to the winners and the participants of Sristi 2024 based on their scores. Smt.Mangai Natarajan, the Correspondent of Paavai Institutions felicitated the gathering. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks delivered by K.S.Janani of III B.Com followed by the National Anthem.
Deans, Principals, Heads of various departments and the staff members of Paavai Institutions graced the occasion by their presence.
