“Review and Re-view programme” for second and third year UG & PG students was held on 02.08.2023 and 04.08.2023in Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over the inaugural function. The function commenced with the prayer song. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Institutions lighted the kuthuvillakku along with the dignitaries. A.Vedhavarshini of III B.A English welcomed the gathering.
Chairman Sir in his session “Review & Re-view”enthused the students by stating the importance of time management and goal setting. He said that students’ passion will drive them to the goal if they are strong in their objective. He asked the students to have perseverance, attitude to win, optimistic approach and struggle until they succeed. He then kindled the subsided goal of the students by explaining SMART goal which is Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound. He gave a statistics on goal setting in which people with written goals get hold of their goals for sure. He also said that attitude determines success and so students should first know themselves and bear in mind that success comes from great goal, high knowledge, continuous hard work and endurance.
He then listed the opportunities available for the students after completion of a degree in their respective fields. He wished them to decide the goal, plan, visualize, break-up the task into small steps, create inspiration and start the action immediately. He asked the students not to compare themselves with others and start where they are, use what they have and do what they can. He concluded his speech by saying that education alone can change the society and provide a person with wealth and health.
The Valedictory function of the programme was held on 04.08.2023in Keerthi Hall. Students came out with their status of achieving goals and inner views, which were kindled by Chairman sir. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. D.Nathiya of II B.A English.The programme paved way for the students to tread in the right path in their career. The program also gave a clear vision on moral values and setting goals.
