The 17th Graduation ceremony for the graduates of Pavai Arts and Science College was held on 18.12.2022. Shri. CA.N.V. Natarajan, The Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the inaugural function. Dr.K.Chandramohan, Founder and Chairman, NTC Groups, Chennai, was the chief guest of the day. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, The Correspondent, Paavai Institutions, lighted the kuthuvilakku along with the dignitaries on the dias.
Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Paavai Engineering College, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest, congratulated all those graduated from a great institute that has many achievements in education and are well versed in many arts. In the keynote address he said that graduates must use the education acquired to benefit themselves and the community. He further said that students should combine education with good character and motivation to build a better society, for which your reading should continue throughout your life. He encouraged them to become possessors of higher aim and goal as said by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. He insisted them to practice time management and check themselves periodically to become leaders with leadership qualities. He then asserted that higher thoughts will guide even if there are ups and downs in work, career and life. The Chief Guest wished all the graduates to take prosperous India to the path of development and make Mother India even more graceful and gift it to the next generation. He said that all like Mahakavi Bharatiyar said, may become innovative women with strong intentions and honesty.
All the graduates were awarded with degree certificates whereas the university rank holders and department toppers were awarded with gold and silver medals. Earlier, the chairman and Secretary, Paavai Institutions, presented the memento and bouquet to the chief guest. Following, all the new graduates were made to accept the convocation pledge. The Vice Chairman – Thiru Manisekaran, Secretary – Thiru Palanivel, Director Administrations -Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Admissions – Thiru K.Senthil, Director Placements and Training – Thiru Srinivasan, Principals, Heads of various Departments, Faculty members, students and parents were present in the valedictory session of the graduation ceremony.
