On 09.08.2023, Tamil Literary Association conducted a Debate on the topic “இன்றைய காலங்களில் இளைஞர்களிடம் தேடல் மிகுந்துள்ளதா? குறைந்துள்ளதா?” in the presence of the Principal Dr.J.Thavamani, in Keerthi Hall at 12.30 pm in Pavai Arts and Science College for Women.
The programme began with the prayer song. Three students each came out with their opinions in favour of and against the topic. The students argued robustly to convey their points and views. Dr.K.Umamaheswari, Head of the Department of Tamil acted as the arbitrator and in her final verdict said that the search for knowledge, wisdom and power is in high demand among the youth of today.
The activity came to an end with National Anthem.
