The Department of Tamil conducted an Oratorical competition on the topic “Penmai Potrudhum” on 28.07.2017 in Keerthi Hall at 11.00 am. The programme started with the prayer song by the students. R.Dhanushiya of II B.Com.C.A. welcomed the gathering. Our respected principal madam Dr.Rajeswari gave the introduction and special speech about the topic. In her speech she insisted the students to respect others and use their power in right way to be respected in the society. The students who participated in the competition exposed their talents by bringing out valuable thoughts regarding women’s well-thought-of position in the society. R.Dhanushiya of II B.Com.C.A got the first prize. S.Kamali of III B.A. English and P.Keerthika of II B.Sc. Physics received second prize. G.Priya of I B.Sc. Chemistry got third prize. Principal Madam congratulated the winners and appreciated the participants for their involvement. The programme came to an end by the Vote of Thanks proposed by P.Keerthika of II B.Sc. Physics followed by National Anthem.
