Pavai Arts and Science College for Women organized “The Paavai Sandhai” in celebration of “World Entrepreneurs Day” on 21.08.2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Visvesvaraya Hall. The event provided students with an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills through various stalls. As part of the celebration, an Entrepreneur’s Day address on the topic “தொடர்ந்து முனைக தொழில்” was delivered by Mrs. Anicham Kanimozhi as part of the 25th Women Empowerment Series in Pragathi Hall.
The event began with a welcome address by P. Swetha from III BA English. Our esteemed Chairman Sir delivered the Presidential Address, offering valuable insights on starting a business, the importance of hard work, sustainability, and the significance of small-scale industries to the students.
A. Asmitha from II B.Sc. Computer Science introduced the Chief Guest, Mrs. Anicham Kanimozhi, who gave an inspiring and insightful talk. She spoke about the strength of every woman, sharing how women have historically faced challenges with determination and resilience. She also shared her personal journey as an entrepreneur, motivating students to be bold and confident in pursuing entrepreneurship. Mrs. Kanimozhi concluded her session with pride in being a successful entrepreneur and founder of Anicham Angadi Theru.
Our beloved Correspondent Madam felicitated the gathering and encouraged students to consider starting their own businesses, emphasizing the important role women play in society. Special thanks were extended to our Principal Madam for organizing this event and inviting such a distinguished speaker to our institution. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by J. Sahana from II B.Sc. Computer Science, followed by the National Anthem.
