On 30th January 2018, a special address on “Break the Barriers & Lead” was conducted in Anandha Arangam at 2.00 pm. The programme commenced with the prayer song. Ms. S.Anusha of II B.A. English welcomed the gathering. The Chairman of Paavai Institutions in his presidential address stated that people consider others as their role model but are not ready to set themselves as a role model for others in current scenario. He also said that if the students of Pavai have the leadership quality, they can become the leader and lead others to lead. He concluded his speech imbibing the spirit to lead by breaking the barriers. The Correspondent of Paavai Institutions felicitated the gathering. In her felicitation, she stated that people have become prey to the corporates, who have dwindled the questioning and reasoning attitude of the people. She said that only women can help to uplift women in the society and only women have the right thoughts to eradicate corruption. She also stated that right education is one that teaches how to differentiate right and wrong, creates interest to learn and to be stable and that type of education is given by the college. She concluded her speech by asking the students to dream big, suppress low level attitudes and succeed in their life. Ms. A.Kavya of II B.A. English introduced the chief guest. The Guest speaker Lion K.Dhanabalan, PMJF, Former Direction of Lionism, in his speech cited Gandhi, Budha, Che Guevara, Charlie Chaplin, Newton, Mary Kom and Jayakanthan, who accepted changes and succeeded in their lives by creating changes. He continued that those who overcame the hurdles and broke the barriers in their lives are the real achievers and those who identify the inner ability and have faith on themselves will stamp their foot and reach success. He wished the students to work hard without worrying about the failures, achieve more than others, should have the ability to break the barriers to become a good leader. The Guest speaker transformed the hearts of the students to positivity through his enchanting inspirational speech. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions honoured the chief guest with shawl and memento. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks delivered by S.Monisha of II B.A. English followed by the National Anthem.
