on 17-08-2012 the Maths Association Activity, was conducted for the students of Maths and Final Year students numbering 263 of Pavai Arts & Science college for women at Keerthi Hall. The principal and the staff memebrs were present in the Association acitivity. The activity began in the afternoon with the welcome address delivered by Ms. Deepa of II M.Sc Maths. Mrs M.Deepa, Lecturer, Department of Maths introduced the Ofice Bearers to the gathering. A briefing of the activity “Fun with Numbers” was given by Ms. P. Sivakami, Lecturer, Department of Maths.
The Association activity was conducted under the following 4 heads.
1. Arithmetic Calculation by Ms. M. Logaapriya of III B.Sc(Maths)
2. Magic Diagrams by Ms. V. Prabhadevi of II M.Sc(Maths)
3. Maths Puzzles by Ms. S Deepaof II M.Sc(Maths) and
4. Maths Magic by Ms. G. Nirmala of III B.Sc(Maths)
The students showed enthusiasm throughout the programme
The activity came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. E. Janani, secretary of the Association.
