The Math Association Activity was conducted for the students of mathematics on 16-08-2013 at Keerthi Hall. The Principal and the Staff members were present. The activity began in the afternoon with the welcome address by Ms.D.Obulakshmi of II Msc(Maths). The Quiz Competition was conducted by Ms.S.Deepa, Lecturer in Maths Department. Mrs.M.Deepa, Lecturer in Maths & Mrs.E.Ramadevi Lecturer in Maths were the judges. Mrs.M.Deepa announced the rules and regulations for the competition. Fifteen students from II and III Bsc and II Msc classes eagerly came forward to participate in the competition. They were divided into 5 teams.There were 5 rounds of questions for each team. All the participants actively participated in the programme. The students showed much enthusiasm throughout the programme. In the end, Mrs. R.Uvarani announced the result. The B team took the first position and A team the second position. The Association activity came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms.N.Shanmugapriya of II Msc(Maths). On the whole, the programme was a grand success.
