Commemorating International Women’s Day, a special address on “Break the Bias” was conducted in Paavai Institutions on 8th March 2022 at 11.00 a.m. in Anandha Arangam on behalf of Young Indian, Salem Chapter. The programme commenced with the prayer song. Shmt.Mangai Natrajan, Correspondent of Paavai institutions along with the dignitaries inaugurated the programme by lighting the kuthuvilaku.
Mr.Senthil Rajan, Chairman, Young Indians Salem chapter welcomed the gathering. Shri.N.V.Natrajan, Chairman of Paavai institutions presided over the function. In his presidential address, he asserted the value and virtue of women in all fields. He felt proud of Paavai for being a paradigm of equity by appointing more than fifty percent of women employees as Premiers, Principals, and Heads of various departments. He further said that the world is nothing without women and so women should enhance themselves and achieve the heights in all fields.
The Chief Guest Ms. Deeksha Senguttuvan, Head, Digital transformation, Kaveri Hospital expressed her immense pleasure on seeing more than thousands of girls with positive thoughts after the pandemic Covid-19. In her special address she encouraged the students to break the internal bias, step out with confidence and dream big to be successful in their life. She persuaded them to ignore those who daunt and deride them from their progress and emerge as laureates in the society. She also strongly recommended the women to learn the art of saying ‘NO’. She further said that women should come forward to express their views without any hesitation as women are born to succeed. She concluded her speech by requesting all women to be the lioness to face the future with aspiration.

The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.Nagalakshmi Vigneshkumar, Vice Chairman, Young Indians Salem chapter followed by National Anthem.
