The Department of Mathematics conducted a seminar for their students on 5-02-13 at Keerthi Hall. The Principal and the staff members were present in the seminar. The seminar began in the afternoon with the welcome address delivered by Ms.M.Logapriya of III Bsc (Maths).
The following students of the Department of Mathematics presented papers in the seminar under the following headings :
1. Applications of Graph Theory in Biology and Computer Science by Ms.E. Janani of II Msc (Maths).
2. Fluid Dynamics by Ms. E. Shamali of I Msc (Maths).
3. Applications of Trigonometry by Ms. P. Sharmila of I Msc (Maths).
4. Introduction to number theory by Ms. P. Sangeetha of I Msc (Maths).
5. Applications of Differential calculus by Ms. S. Praveena of I Msc (Maths).
6. Applications of Graph Theory in Operations Research by Ms. P. Devipriya of II Msc (Maths).
The students showed enthusiasm throughout the programme. The seminar came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. E. Janani of II Msc (Maths).
