A Guest Lecture on the topic, ‘Material Science’ was organised by the Department of Physics of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women on 30.08.2019 in Keerthi Hall at 02.00 p.m. All UG and PG students of the Department of Physics attended the Guest Lecture. The programme started with the prayer song by the students. S.Priya of II B.Sc. Physics welcomed the gathering. M.Nickitha of III B. Sc. Physics introduced the Guest Speaker Dr.N.Iyandurai, Assistant Professor of Physics, Thiruvalluvar Govt. Arts College for Rasipuram. The Guest speaker in his special address explained in detail about Material Synthesis and Crystal Physics. He gave clear picture on the Crystal Material, Properties, advantages and uses of Material Synthesis and also its applications. Students earnestly pinned their ears back to the lecture. G.Varshini of III B.Sc. Physics proposed the Vote of Thanks and the Guest Lecture came to an end with National Anthem.
