On 24-08-2012 the Computer Science Activity, was conducted for the students of Computer Science of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. Nearly 198 students including the representatives of the other departments took part in the activity held in the Keerthi Hall. The faculty members other department were also among the audience. The activity began in the afternoon with the welcome address delivered by Ms.R.Gajalakshmi of III B.Sc(C.S).
Ms.M.Revathi , Lecturer, Department of Computer Science introduced the office Bearers to the gathering. Soon after the office bearers were introduced, the Debugging programme and the poster Presentation started simultaneously. Thirty students participated in Debugging programme. They were given 20 minutes for 20 programmesMs.R.Gayathri of II B.Sc(CS) stood first among the participants. R. Jagadesshwari of II B.SC(CS) got the second place and Ms.S.S.Soundaryaroja & S.Karpagam of III B.Sc(CS) shared the third place .
Twelve students took part in poster presentation entitled “Technical Level Symposium”. The students presented posters designed by themselves. Ms.B.Manju of III B.Sc(Cs) and Ms.M.Ariffa Begum of III B.Sc(CS) were selected as the best posters,. The participants as well as the audience enthusiastically involved themselves in the programmes.
The activity came to an end with the Vote of thanks proposed by the Ms.E.Tharani of IB.SC(CS)
