A Guest Lecture on the topic, ‘Essence of Success’ was organised by the department of Commerce of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women on 10.04.2024 in Keerthi Hall at 2.30 pm. III UG students of all the Departments attended the Guest Lecture.
The programme started with the prayer song by the students. Ms.K.S.Janani of III B.Com. welcomed the gathering. Ms. B. Jananee of I M.A. English introduced the Guest Speaker Dr. T. Kalai Selvi, Director of Management of Business Administration, Paavai Engineering College.
The Guest Speaker in her special address explained the Essence of success. She stated that genuine success is in being honest, respecting parents and dedication in work. She then said that success in life is not determined by what gained, but by what given. She insisted the students to realise goals and dreams that have been set from within, rather than those dictated by societal norms. She wished them to be goal oriented person who always succeeds in life.
Also students of M.B.A conducted business games to our students, like LOGO Quiz, Tagline quiz, Advertisement BGM Quiz. They also conducted fun games like Ball picking, making pyramid in balloons etc.
Ms. Sharupriya of III B. COM (CA) delivered the Vote of Thanks and the Guest Lecture came to an end with National Anthem.
