Math Association conducted an activity ‘MATH SKETCHING’ at Keerthi hall on 20.02.2024 in Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. The programme commenced with the prayer song. P.Tamilselvi of III B.Sc. mathematics welcomed the gathering.
In this programme students were divided into four teams ODD, EVEN, PRIME and COMPOSIT containing two students each. There were three rounds. First round was ‘Memorize the picture’, in which the teams were asked to draw the Number of shapes as shown within 45 seconds. The winner team of first round was ‘ODD’. Second round was ‘PICTIONARY’, in which the teams were to draw the picture as explained within 30 seconds. The winner team of second round was ’PRIME’. Third round was ‘FOCUS & CHALLENGE’ in which the teams have to arrange the picture within 30 seconds. The winner team was ‘ ODD’. Finally, team ‘ODD’ was announced as the overall winner.
S.P.Snehapriya of II M.Sc. Mathematics proposed the vote of thanks and the activity came to an end with National Anthem.
