The Department of Chemistry conducted an Association Activity on 31.08.2023 on the topic “CHEM PLAY” in Keerthi Hall at 02.00 pm. Four events such as Chem connect, Quizo-chem, Chemalloon and Jumbled words were conducted for all the students of the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Nutrition and Dietetics, Mathematics and Geology.
Ms.B.Kavitha, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, introduced the team members and explained the rules for the Chem connect and Quiz-o-Chem. In the Event Chem connect, students participated and identified the pictures and answered eagerly. In Quiz-o-Chem questions were raised and students answered enthusiastically. Ms. S.Vani, Assistant professor of Chemistry introduced the team members and explained the rules for the Chemalloon. In the event Chemalloon, students arranged the chemical formula by identifying the chemical names seen inside the balloons. The balloons were blown and burst in order to get the hint inside the balloon. In the event Jumbled word game, scientist name and chemical names were jumbled. Students were asked to rearrange the names of the elements and scientist names that were presented.
The students ardently participated in all the events. The winners were cheered with prizes.
