In commemoration with Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalams 4th Memorial Anniversary special talks were arranged on 26.07.2019 in Keerthi Hall, Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. The function started with blessings of Almighty through the prayer song. The Presidential address was given by Principal Madam, in which she gave a speech about Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, our Former President. The nuclear test held in Pokhran by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam made the developed countries of the world to look up India with respect. How he had a vision of India 2020 in trusting the student community as an imminent source for developing our country. She also quoted the lines of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep before fulfilling them. Her speech was an inspiration to the students. The two faculty members and two students also spoke about Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalams Life and career as a scientist. They also gave us an idea about his career as a teacher and a guiding source of youth folk. Ms.V.Kiruthika of I B.Sc Chemistry recited a poem about Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. The function came an end with the National Anthem and saplings were planted by students which was organised by Gardening Committee of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women.
