On 20-09-2012, as part of the Fine Arts Association Activity, a dance programme was held for the students of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. The programme began in Keerthi Hall at 2:30 in the afternoon. The second and third year students and the staff members formed a major part of the audience. The dance programme organised was a combination of both solo and group performances.
The activity began with the welcome address delivered by Ms. G. Nirmala of III B.Sc. Mathematics. The colourful performances of the students ranged from classical dance to folk dance. The audience sat mesmerised, tapping their feet and they become a part of the activity. There was loud applause and encouragement from the audience. The programme was successful and it came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. N. Kowsalya of III B.Sc., Computer Science.
