The commerce and business administration department conducted the “Market Day” on 3th February, 2013 at the college premises of Pavai Arts and Science College for women. Dr.S.Muthumeenakshi the principal began the first purchase by visiting the different stalls put up by the students. The students set up various stalls for selling stationery, Fancy things items, textiles goods, grocery items, cool drinks and snacks.
The students of other departments showed enthusiasm and interest in buying the products. The programme enabled the students of commerce and Business administration to learn practically the skills of purchasing, storing, Selling and accounting. They also got an exposure to business tactics, customer satisfaction and product mobilization.
