The Women Empowerment Series organized its 31st event in celebration of International Women’s Day with the theme “ஞான நல்லறம் வீர சுதந்திரம் மாதரின் நற்குணங்களாம்” on 9th March 2025 at Dhiram Hall, Paavai Arts and Science College for Women, Anaipalayam.

The program commenced with a melodious prayer song followed by Tamil Thai Vazhthu, presented by the students. Ms. A. Asmitha, III B.Sc. Computer Science, warmly welcomed the gathering.

Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, Chairman and Founder of Paavai Educational Institutions, along with Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, honoured the Chief Guest, Mrs. Kabila Visalatchi, Public Speaker from Trichy, with a shawl and memento. The Chairman delivered the Presidential Address and presided over the function.

Ms. C. Harini, III B.Sc. Computer Science, introduced the Chief Guest. During her address, Mrs. Kabila Visalatchi delivered an inspiring and motivational speech emphasizing the importance of women’s empowerment, courage, and independence. She shared several real-life success stories of women and encouraged the students to become confident, financially independent, and self-reliant. Her thought-provoking speech deeply motivated the students. Students from Paavai Engineering College and Paavai College of Pharmacy actively participated in the program.

Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, delivered the Felicitation Address. She highlighted the importance of courage and self-confidence among women in their professional and personal lives. She encouraged the students to believe in themselves, stand strong in every situation, and strive for independence.

Deans, the Overall Coordinator, Heads of various Departments, and faculty members of Paavai Educational Institutions graced the occasion with their presence.

The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Monika, II B.Sc. AI & DS, followed by the National Anthem.
