As a realization of the long –term and continuous goal of Paavai Mission for Women Empowerment, a program on the topic, ‘Pennae Perumai Kol’ was held on 31.08.2018. It was an interesting and happy co-incidence that on the same date of 2001 (31.08.2001), the genesis and the inauguration of Paavai Engineering College took place before 17 years.
Mr.R.S.Prabhu, JCI Senator and National Trainer, Junior Chamber International India, from Erode, gave an excellent, thought – provoking and motivational speech eulogizing the women achievers in various domains. The Chief Guest Mr.P.Kathirvelu, Human Resource Development Trainer, Erode, delivered an inspiring speech stating that women are still prevented from enjoying certain rights. He also stated that Life is all about living and hence, one should wait for the right opportunity to accomplish by citing real life examples. The third program in the series was held on 24.10.2018 on the topic “Purapadu Puthumai Sei”. The Guest speaker Mrs. Sheetal Gandhi, National Trainer motivated the students to be innovative by asserting that extraordinary things happen when students think out of box and rightly make use of their knowledge. She cited the lives of Oprah Winfrey, Saniya Mirza and Indira Nooyi, who broke the personal, family and social barriers to shine in their life by thinking differently.
