Sristi’25 - A Cultural Fest

Sristi 2025 – a two-day extravaganza was celebrated on 21.02.2025 and 22.02.2025 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Anaipalayam.

The college was beautifully decorated to host 36 exciting events, inspiring students to showcase their hidden talents. The festival was meticulously organized by the students and cultural coordinators under the guidance of Mr. Mohan, Overall Programme Coordinator of Paavai Institutions. The students and faculty witnessed two days of remarkable talent, competitive spirit, and enthusiasm during the cultural festival Sristi 2025. The grand carnival featured an array of events, including dance, singing, hairdressing, bridal makeup, soap carving, Nail Art, street play, Painting on Coconut, skit, fashion runway, rangoli, pattimandram, mehendi, face painting, mime, photography, Dumb C and more. The events saw a participation of approximately 750 students.

The departments were divided into three teams: Pavai Consorts, Pavai Monarchs, and Pavai Regals. After intense competition, Pavai Consorts emerged as the overall championship winners, followed by Pavai Regals in second place and Pavai Monarchs securing third place.

All events were judged by professionals from their respective fields. Deans, Principals, and HoDs of Paavai Institutions also served as juries. The fest provided students with a platform to exhibit their energy, passion, and creative skills while fostering team spirit, leadership qualities, and coordination abilities.

Sristi’24 - A Cultural Fest

Sristi 2024 – a two day extravanganza was celebrated on 15.02.2024 and 16.02.2024 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Anaipalayam.  The fest was inaugurated by Shri CA.N.V.Natarajan, the Chairman and Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions.

The college was fully decorated to organise 34 events as a result of which students got motivated to expose their concealed talents.  It was well organised by the students and cultural co-ordinators under the guidance of Mr.Mohan, Overall Programme Co-ordinator of Paavai Institutions.  The students and faculty saw two days of excellent display of talent, competitive spirit and excitement during the cultural festival Sristi 2024.  Nothing was missing from the two day carnival; right from dance, Singing, hair dressing, bridal make up, soap carving, nail art, street play, pattrimandram, skit, fashion runway, rangoli, mehendi, etc.  The events witnessed a footfall of approximately 700 students.  The departments were divided into 3 teams namely Pavai Consorts, Pavai Monarchs and Pavai Regals.  The team ‘Pavai Regals’ won the overall championship trophy, ‘Pavai Monarchs’ the second and ‘Pavai Consorts’ the third place. 

All the events were judged by the professionals in the respective area.  Deans, Principals and HoDs of Paavai Institutions also acted as the juries for the events.  The fest gave an opportunity to showcase students’ energies and passion to perform various activities and reflected the team spirit, leadership quality and coordinating capacity among students. 

Sristi’23 - An Intra Collegiate fest

Sristi ‘23 – An intra-collegiate fest was celebrated on 15.02.2023 and 16.02.2023 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. Totally there were 32 fest events. The departments were divided into three groups namely Pavai Monarchs, Pavai Regals and Pavai Consorts.
On 15.02.2023, 16 events were conducted such as Volley Ball, Oyilattam, Bouquet Making, Solo Singing, Solo Non-classical, Treasure Hunt, Wealth from Waste, Fruit/Vegetable Carving, Kavithai Ulagam, Mehendi, Hair Dressing, Dumb C, Reflection, Pattimantram, Skit and Adszap.
On 16.02.2023, 16 fest events including Kho Kho, Street Play, Just and Minute, Mega Rangoli, Solo Classical Dance, T-Shirt Painting, Bridal Make-up, Soft toys making, Monologue, Fashion Runway, Pencil Drawing, Artificial Ornaments Making, Mime, Group Dance, Soap Carving and Fireless Cooking were conducted. Around 1900 students took part in almost all events. Sristi laid a platform for the young minds to expose their hidden talents. Students participated in almost all events with full potential and enthusiasm.

Sristi - 2022

Sristi 2022 – An Intra Departmental Cultural Fest was celebrated on 31.03.2022 and 01.04.2022 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Anaipalayam.  Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, the Chairman of Paavai Institutions presided over the cultural fest.  Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions graced the occasion by boosting and cheering up the students.

In the fest totally there were 25 events including Singing, dance, hair dressing, bridal make up, soap carving, etc.  Around 1500 students took part in almost all events.  The departments were divided into 5 teams namely Daffodils, Daisy, Jasmine, Lilly and Rose.  The team ‘Daisy’ won the first place, ‘Jasmine’ the second and ‘Rose’ the third place. 

Deans, Principals and HoD’s of Paavai Institutions acted as the juries for all the events.  Students participated with full potential full potential and enthusiasm. The fest acted as a platform for the young minds to expose their hidden talents.

Sristi - 2020

Sristi 2020 – An intra-collegiate fest was celebrated on 24.01.2020 and 25.01.2020 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. Totally there were 24 fest events. The departments were divided into five teams namely Manini, Mangai, Karigai, Kanthai and Vanithai. On 24.01.2020, 12 events were conducted such as Bouquet Making, Solo Singing, Pencil Drawing, Treasure Hunt, Wealth from Waste, Fruit Carving, Kavithai Ulagam, Mehandi, Hair Dressing, Dumb C, Pattimantram, and Skit. On 25.01.2020, 12 fest events including Mega Rangoli, Solo Classical Dance, Craft Work, Bridal Make-up, Soft toys making, Toys making-clay, Artificial Ornaments Making, Mime, Dubsmash, Group Dance, Soap Carving and Fireless Cooking were conducted. Around 1900 students took part in almost all events. Sristi laid a platform for the young minds to expose their hidden talents. Students participated in all events with full potential and enthusiasm.

Sristi - 2018

Day 2

Sristi’18 – An intra-collegiate fest was celebrated on 12.12.2018 and 13.12.2018 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. Totally there were 29 fest events. The departments were divided into five teams namely Tulips, Gladiolus, Bluebells, Daffodils and Daturas. On 12.12.2018, 15 events were conducted such as Bouquet Making, Solo Singing, Pencil Drawing, Treasure Hunt, Wealth from Waste, Fruit Carving, Nail Art, Turn Court, Kavithai Ulagam, Mehandi, Hair Dressing, Dumb C, Pattimantram, Skit and Photography. On 13.12.2018, 14 fest events including Mega Rangoli, Solo Classical Dance, Reflection, Craft Work, Bridal Make-up, Soft toys making, Fashion Show, Artificial Ornaments Making, Mime, Dubsmash, Group Dance, Soap Carving and Fireless Cooking were conducted. Around 1900 students took part in almost all events. Sristi laid a platform for the young minds to expose their hidden talents. Students participated in almost all events with full potential and enthusiasm.

Sristi'17

Sristi’17 – An intra-collegiate fest was celebrated at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, which laid a platform for the young minds to expose their hidden talents. Students participated in almost all events with full potential and enthusiasm. Totally there were 31 fest events including oratorical, essay writing, singing, dance, pencil drawing, hair dressing, soap carving, origami, etc,. The Valedictory function was held on 30.12.2017 at Anandha Arangam. R.Dhanushya, of II B.Com. C.A. welcomed the gathering. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, The Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function. Dr.I.S.Parveen Sultana, famous Tamil was invited as the chief guest to the Valedictory function. In her key note address, she said that participating in competition is the real success than winning. Students should make use of the opportunities like a stream by refining themselves and helping their successors. They should evaluate themselves to create an identity in the society. Women should be cautious about their mind, body and the world. They should know their limits, should have self-respect and make their life admirable. They should do their duties with happiness and succeed in every aspect with determination. She concluded her speech by wishing them all the best in their life. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions honoured the chief guest with shall and memento. Prizes were distributed to the teams based on their scores. P.Keerthika of II B.Sc. Physics delivered the Vote of Thanks. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Dr.R.Rajeswari, Principal, Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Heads of various Departments and the staff members graced the occasion by their presence.

Sristi'16- An Intradepartmental Fest

Sristi’16 – An intra-collegiate fest was celebrated on 11.07.16 and 12.07.16 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women.

Totally there were 30 fest events. Around 1239 students took part in almost all the events. The departments were divided into 5 teams namely Daffodils, Daisy, Jasmine, Lily and Rose. The fest acted as a platform for the young minds to expose their hidden talents.  Students participated in almost all events with full potential and enthusiasm.

The Valedictory function was held on 13.07.16 at Anandha Arangam.

Shri. CA.N.V.Natarajan, The Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function. In his Presidential address, he advised the students not to get diverted in unnecessary things as this is the correct stage for the students to withstand and shine on their own. He also added that a woman is said to be independent only when she is economically independent on others.

Mrs. Rajeswari Ventkatraman, National Jaycees Trainer, was invited as the chief guest to the Valedictory function. In her keynote address, she advised the students to read the newspaper on daily basis. She also added that the Learning, Listening, Reading and Writing skills of the students should be enhanced.

Smt.  Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions felicitated the gathering.

Followed by the speech, prizes were distributed to the teams based on their scores.
