The Department of Computer Science organized a successful activity titled “SMART ERA” on 24th September 2025 to showcase the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, focusing on AI-powered tools, gaming innovations, and visual effects in movies. The event aimed to educate students on current AI trends and inspire them to explore the practical applications of AI in technology and entertainment.

The program began with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome delivered by Ms. A. Gomathisri of II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS) and Ms. A. Devasriakshaya of II BCA. Ms. R. K. Santhiya of III B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS) served as the event host.

The first segment, titled “SMART ERA,” featured Innovation Games conducted by Ms. R. K. Santhiya of III B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS) and Ms. M. Pavithra of II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS), which added a fun and innovative touch to the day.

The next session included a paper presentation by Ms. Monisha A of II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS) on the topic “AI-Powered Tools and Visual Effects in Movies.” This session was highly informative and interactive, providing valuable insights into AI tools and their applications in the entertainment industry.

Outstanding students were recognized and rewarded for their active participation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. S. Jayasri of III B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS), followed by a Q&A session, a discussion, and the National Anthem.
