English Literary Association conducted a program in which a play was enacted on 12.02.2014 at Keerthi Hall at 3.00 P.M. As the event started, the students invoked the God with the prayer song. The welcome address was proposed by Ms. S. Shri Sindhuja of I B.A. English. Ms. C. Shalini, Lecturer, Department of English read the minutes of the previous activity and the Principal accepted and signed it. The students from I UG enacted the play ‘The Pie and the Tart’. The performance was like a sweet pie to the audience. The expressions of the actors were as sharp as the peppery pie swathed in tangy tart. Just as the pie puffs out from an oven, the cheeks of the audience puffed out, because of their irrepressible laughter. The program ended after the vagabonds emptied the pie. The Principal appreciated the student participants for their debut performance and expressed her happiness on the efforts taken by the students and the staff members. Ms. D. Bemisha of I B.A. English delivered the Vote of Thanks. The occasion came to an end with the National Anthem.
