On 16th February 2019, Alumni Series 4 : Challenges of Hub was conducted in Keerthi Hall at 10.30 am. The programme commenced with the prayer song. J.Mounika of II BCA welcomed the gathering. The Principal of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women felicitated the gathering. In her felicitation, she explicated the importance of good communication and public speaking in current scenario and asked the students to follow good things in life for successful and bright future. She then honoured the guest speakers with memento. A.Dhivya of III B.Sc. Computer Science introduced the guest speakers, who were the alumni of the batch 2012 to 2015 in Pavai Arts and Science College for Women. The Guest speaker Ms.E.Tharani, Associate Co-ordinator, PMO, Techmahindra, Bangalore, in her special address asked the students to voluntarily participate in all the events during college days and also make use of the opportunities when knocks the door. She also said to develop the communication skills and extra-curricular activities. She asked the students to be more attentive and receptive in the classroom and insisted to ask questions and doubts to the teachers regarding the subject, which will help them to improve their technical skills. The Guest speaker Ms.S.S.Mangayarkarasi, Associate Co-ordinator, PMO, Techmahindra, Bangalore, in her special address asked the students to utilize the precious time properly to learn technical skills like Java, Oracle, .Net, etc. She also shared her academic and professional experiences and elucidated in detail the corporate culture to the students. She was in full praise of the management and the principal for organizing more programmes to motivate the students to move in the right path towards success. II, III UG and PG Students of the Department of Computer Science were the audience. The heads of other departments graced the occasion with their presence. N.PE.Dhanesa of II B.Sc. Computer Science proposed the Vote of thanks and the activity came to an end with National Anthem.
