The Department of Training and Placement organized an Orientation Program on “Certificate Program in Banking, Finance and Insurance” (CPBFI) through a webinar, held at Keerthi Hall, Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, on July 23, 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Dijith V. C., Program Manager, and Mr. B. Govindarajan, Project Manager.

The event began with a welcome address by Ms. R. M. K. Bharathi, III B.Com (CA), followed by Ms. A. Haripriya, III B.Com (CA), who introduced the guest speakers.

Mr. Dijith V. C. presented a detailed overview of the CPBFI course through a PowerPoint presentation. He emphasized that the program aims to equip students with practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills essential for a successful career in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector. The course is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional requirements by offering in-depth training on financial products, banking operations, insurance services, and customer relationship management. It also focuses on enhancing employability by developing technical competencies, communication skills, and an understanding of real-world business scenarios.

Mr. B. Govindarajan provided a brief introduction to the CPBFI course, explained the job opportunities it offers, and outlined the procedure for registration. He also shared details about the certification awarded upon successful completion of the course.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. S. Rajakumari, III B.Com (CA), Department of Commerce.
