The Department of English organized a literary event titled “Literary Aura” on 24.01.2026 with the theme “Tradition and Transition in World Literature.” The programme aimed to explore how world literature preserves cultural traditions while embracing change across generations.
The event began with the morning session at 10:30 a.m. A Literary Exhibition was organized, showcasing classic and contemporary literary works, manuscripts, and creative displays prepared by the students. This was followed by Poem Writing and Drawing competitions, which encouraged students to express their creativity and literary skills. The morning session concluded with a Storytelling event, where students narrated stories reflecting the essence of tradition and transition.
The afternoon session commenced at 3:00 p.m. in the Madhuram Open Hall. The session was presided over by our respected Chairman and Correspondent, under the guidance of the Principal. A colorful Literary Parade was presented by the students, portraying renowned literary characters and cultural transformations from various literary periods. This was followed by a graceful Ball Dance, symbolizing the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The event concluded successfully, making Literary Aura a meaningful and memorable celebration of literature.
