International Literacy Day Celebration

The Department of English celebrated International Literacy Day on 8th September 2026 with great enthusiasm and zeal. The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of literacy and encourage students to enhance their language, communication, and creative skills.

As part of the celebration, various literary competitions were organized on different themes to bring out the creative talents of the students. The competitions included Drawing, Podcast, Quiz, Tongue Twister, Spell Bee, and Dumb Charades.

Students from various departments actively participated in all the competitions and showcased their talents with great confidence and creativity. Each event was designed to develop and assess different skills among the learners.

The Drawing Competition brought out the artistic and imaginative abilities of the students. The Podcast Competition enhanced their speaking and storytelling skills, while the Quiz Competition helped enrich their general knowledge and vocabulary. Fun-filled events such as Tongue Twister, Spell Bee, and Dumb Charades helped students improve their pronunciation, spelling, listening skills, and presence of mind.
