The Department of Commerce, Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, organized an industrial visit for first-year students (85 students) to The Hindu Publishing Private Limited, Coimbatore, on 03.02.2026. The students were accompanied by four staff members.

During the visit, students were introduced to the newspaper production process, including news collection, editing, page layout, printing, and distribution. Company officials explained the use of digital tools in journalism, content management systems, and online publishing platforms.
