The Inauguration of PG First Year classes for the academic year 2026–2027 was held at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women on 11.08.2026.The program began with a prayer song followed by _Tamilthai Vaazhthu_.

Ms. S. Subashini of II B.Com CA welcomed the gathering. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions, felicitated the students. In her address, she urged students to “know yourself and voice yourself.” She emphasized that every woman must be bold and courageous, citing _Aandal_ and _Thiruppavai_ as timeless examples of women’s strength. She spoke about the Standard Operating Procedure and Statement of Purpose to help PG students understand their rules and responsibilities. She highlighted that technical terms are common across all subjects and stressed the importance of “Learn to Unlearn.” She added that teaching others builds confidence, and that women must be decision-makers and socially responsible leaders for individual achievement and growth.

Shri. CA. N. V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Institutions, delivered the presidential address. He congratulated the students on beginning a new chapter in life. He advised PG students to be friendly with UG students and motivate them, to develop a thirst for knowledge, and to cultivate a research-oriented mindset. He emphasized that women must be economically empowered, stay updated with technology, and adopt a collaborative approach. He encouraged learning from failures and upholding ethics and morality at all times.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. R. Mamathiy of II AI & DS, followed by the National Anthem.
