The First-Year Inauguration Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027 was conducted with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Diram Hall on 2 July 2026. The event commenced auspiciously with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, in the presence of other esteemed dignitaries. This was followed by soulful bhajans and inspiring slogan chanting, creating a divine and motivating atmosphere.
Dr. K.K. Ramasamy, Director–Administration, Paavai Educational Institutions, delivered the welcome address and warmly welcomed the gathering. The inauguration of the first-year classes was formally declared by Shri CA. N.V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions.
In his presidential address, the Chairman inspired students, parents, faculty members, and the management to work together for the holistic development and success of every student. He emphasized that life should have a clear purpose and meaningful goals. He encouraged students to cultivate good character, respect everyone, choose good friends, and confidently showcase their talents. Stressing the importance of continuous learning, he advised students to update themselves every day, improve their vocabulary through regular reading, and focus on self-improvement by comparing themselves only with who they were yesterday. He also introduced the Heads of the various Departments to the parents present.
In her felicitation address, Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, shared the remarkable growth journey of the institution—from a humble beginning with just 18 students to a thriving educational community of over 15,000 students today. She encouraged young women to earn dignity, self-respect, and recognition through education, hard work, and perseverance. She motivated students to become independent, courageous, and confident in facing life’s challenges, to always respect their parents, and wished them a bright and successful future.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. K. Senthil, Director–Admissions, along with Principals, Heads of Departments, faculty members, students, and parents.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. M. Revathi, Principal, Paavai Arts and Science College for Women, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration ended on a vibrant note with colourful cultural performances presented by the second- and third-year students, adding joy and excitement to the memorable occasion.
