On 27.12.2025, the Department of Physics and Chemistry of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women organized a field visit to the Experimenta Science Centre, Coimbatore. The visit was organized with the objective of enhancing students’ practical understanding of scientific principles through interactive and experiential learning. The science centre provided an ideal platform for students to explore scientific concepts beyond the classroom.

During the visit, students actively engaged with various interactive exhibits related to mechanics, optics, electricity, energy, chemical reactions, and environmental science. The facilitator, Mrs. M. Geetha, explained the underlying scientific principles behind each exhibit in a simple and engaging manner. These demonstrations helped students correlate theoretical concepts with real-life applications.

Overall, the visit to the Experimenta Science Centre was highly educational and enriching. It successfully combined theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, making the field trip a memorable and valuable learning experience for both students and faculty of the Departments of Physics and Chemistry.
