On 19.12.2025, the Department of English of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women organized a field visit to the Library of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women (Deemed University), Coimbatore. The visit provided students with an enriching academic experience, enabling them to explore the university’s extensive library resources and enhance their understanding of research techniques and academic referencing.

Mrs. Geetha, a faculty member from Avinashilingam University, guided the students through the library. She explained the library’s organizational structure, book classification system, and effective methods of utilizing various resources. Her detailed explanation helped students gain practical knowledge on navigating and making optimal use of an academic library. This exposure proved to be both informative and highly beneficial.

As part of the educational tour, the students also visited the G.D. Naidu Car Museum, where they observed an impressive collection of vintage and modern automobiles that showcased the evolution of automobile technology. The visit was both educational and enjoyable, leaving students and faculty members fascinated and inspired by the diverse range of vehicles on display.
