Paavai Institutions give importance to Physical Education, Sports and Games right from the beginning. The Department of Physical Education is existing from the year 2001. Our Paavai Institutions provide free education with boarding and lodging for the state as well as district players in athletics and team games. This year, more than 500 students have been benefited under this scheme. The students are encouraged with gold coins if they get first place in All India Level Competitions. Paavai Institutions cater to a wide range of sports and games including facilities like the establishment of Kalpana Chawla Open Ground, Paavai Indoor Stadium & Arjun Sports Maidan which provides flood light facilities to play all the major games. Under the guidance of specialized SDAT coaches for all the games, the players are given exposure to the tournaments at State, South Indian and National Level Competitions.
