Pavai Arts and Science College for Women proudly hosted the “Navigate – Discover Your Professional Journey: CA Career Awareness Program 2026–2027” on August 21, 2026, at Dhiram Hall. The ceremony began with a soulful prayer song, followed by the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, setting a dignified tone for the event. The ceremony marked the beginning of an inspiring journey aimed at guiding students towards greater career awareness and professional opportunities in the field of Chartered Accountancy.

The valuable session began with Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, Chairman and Founder of Paavai Educational Institutions, and Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, honouring the Chief Guests with shawls and mementos. The Presidential Address was delivered by the Chairman, who presided over the function. Ms. N. Gokulapriya of I B.A. English welcomed the gathering.

1. A. S. Gowri, FCA, Chief Guest, was introduced by Ms. S. Pradeepa, II B.Com. She explained the CA course, its scope, eligibility, examination pattern, career opportunities and approximate fee structure. She encouraged students to consider Chartered Accountancy as a promising professional career.
2. E. Vignesh Kumar, M.Com., M.Phil., FCA, Chief Guest, was introduced by Ms. S. Subashini, II B.Com. CA. He explained the three major stages of the CA course – Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Students gained a clear understanding of the course progression, examinations, and opportunities available after completing each level. He also explained how students could plan their studies systematically and complete the required stages before progressing to the next level.
3. A. V. Arun, B.Com., FCA, ACMA, ACS, DISA, Chief Guest, was introduced by Ms. R. Mamathy, II B.Sc. CS (AI & DS). He explained the advantages and benefits of pursuing the CA course, highlighting its professional value, wide career opportunities, strong financial knowledge and scope for growth. He encouraged students to consider CA as a rewarding and prestigious career option.

Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, felicitated the gathering and shared valuable insights into the advantages and career opportunities of pursuing Chartered Accountancy. She highlighted that CA is a prestigious and highly respected profession that offers students opportunities to hold responsible positions in leading companies, financial institutions and organisations. She encouraged the students to understand the value, professional status, and wide career scope of the CA qualification and motivated them to confidently choose CA as a promising career path. Overall the programme provided students with valuable and practical knowledge about the CA profession and inspired them to explore Chartered Accountancy as a prestigious career option.

The session enriched students with valuable insights into start-up opportunities, future business goals and entrepreneurship. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. B. Bhavasri of I B.Sc. Geology, followed by the National Anthem.
