The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Tamil Nadu, successfully conducted the West Zone Camporee – 2025 at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Anaipalayam, Rasipuram, from 24th to 26th July 2025. The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including state officials, district association leaders, and institutional heads, setting the tone for three dynamic days of leadership training, skill-building, cultural exchange, and unity among Scouts and Guides.
Dr. A. M. Mathivendhan, Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare of Tamil Nadu and State President of the Bharatha Saranaya Movement, delivered an inspiring keynote address.
Mrs. Durgamoorthi, I.A.S., District Collector of Namakkal, and Ms. V. G. Maheswari, CEO of Namakkal, also motivated the participants through their impactful speeches.
Sri CA. N. V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence and valuable support.
Scout troops from 28 districts actively participated, including Dharmapuri, Harur, Palacode, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, Thiruchengode, Salem, Coimbatore, Erode, and Tiruppur. Participants enthusiastically took part in events such as March Past, Colour Party, Band Display, Physical Exercises, Folk Dance, Food Plaza, Tent Pitching, and Camp Craft competitions. Their energetic participation, discipline, and team spirit were highly appreciated.
The camp concluded with a valedictory session, during which dignitaries presented certificates and medals in recognition of students’ outstanding performances. The event ended with the National Anthem, marking a grand and respectful conclusion to the Camporee.
