Alumni Talk: My Journey with PAVAI

The Department of Commerce organised an Alumni Interaction Programme on 21.01.2026 in Keerthi Hall, PASCW. Ms. Sowmiya, B.Com (CA) (2020–2023), Communicative Trainer and Life Skills Trainer, shared her experiences as an alumna on the topic “My Journey with Paavai.” She explained the importance of Paavai culture, which is essential for the future. She highlighted that everyone’s career is strongly based on communication and advised students to focus on developing their communication skills. She also encouraged students to utilise the knowledge of the faculty members, which would lead them towards a bright future. She insisted that students seek guidance from every faculty member, as each one has unique knowledge and experience. She emphasised that our college gives more importance to placements than any other institution. She compared learning to medicine — bitter at first, but healing in the end. Finally, she thanked the Management, Principal, Ms. T. Sugaveneswari, Ms. T. Jeeva, and the Department of Commerce for organising the programme and giving her the opportunity to share her experiences.
