The Department of Computer Science organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on “Classroom to Corporate” on 09 September 2026. The programme commenced with a prayer song rendered by Ms. K. Sahaana of II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS), followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. K. Kayathri of II B.Sc. Computer Science.

The chief guest, Ms. M. Kalpanadevi, SBI C Service, iEnergizer IT Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, delivered an inspiring and insightful session. She shared her personal career journey and highlighted how dedication, continuous learning, effective communication, and consistent skill development had helped her establish herself in the corporate world. She encouraged the students to develop a growth mindset, strengthen their communication skills, and continuously upgrade their technical knowledge to meet the evolving demands of the industry. She also shared valuable insights into current recruitment trends, employer expectations, interview preparation, aptitude skills, coding fundamentals, and technical skill development.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the question-and-answer session. They sought clarification on career opportunities, workplace communication, interview preparation, and professional growth.
