On 15.10.2025 (Wednesday), the Department of Physics of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women celebrated Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s Birthday with great enthusiasm at Keerthi Hall and Madhuram Hall from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. The event was graced by the Head of the Department, Ms. S. Surya.

The celebration began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of the day, followed by a biography presentation on the remarkable life and achievements of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Students presented PowerPoint slides depicting the life and vision of the great scientist and former President, inspiring everyone through his dedication and values.

A quiz competition based on his life and contributions was conducted to engage the students, followed by a drawing competition reflecting Dr. Kalam’s dreams and ideals.

The Head of the Department, Ms. S. Surya, appreciated the sincere efforts of the faculty and students in organizing the event and encouraged everyone to follow Dr. Kalam’s ideals of hard work and perseverance.

The program concluded on an inspiring and joyful note, leaving everyone motivated with a sense of patriotism and purpose.
