Paavai Institutions celebrated the 80th Independence Day at the Kalpana Chawla Open Theatre with great enthusiasm and patriotic Spirit. The celebration commenced with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by the Flag Song. Shri. C.A. N.V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Independence Day address.
In his address, he highlighted the significance of freedom and the responsibilities of every citizen in building a strong, progressive and prosperous nation. He emphasized that freedom is not a gift but the result of the sacrifices and struggles of numerous freedom fighters. He encouraged everyone to respect fellow citizens and contribute positively to the development of the nation. He urged the younger generation to dream big, work with determination and strive towards a brighter future. He appreciated the achievements of young people and stressed the importance of effective leadership in guiding them towards success.
He also highlighted the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and research, urging students to continuously learn and stay updated with the rapidly evolving world. He emphasized the importance of developing strong character, maintaining dignity and upholding values in every aspect of life. He also added that India should continue to progress and that its citizens should strive to place the nation at the highest level globally.
The students of Paavai Institutions presented a spectacular march-past, demonstrating synchronized movements, disciplined formations, sharp commands and vibrant energy. The parade was one of the major highlights of the celebration and received appreciation. The impressive performance and disciplined participation of the band added grandeur to the event. Mr. B.V. Maheswaran, NSS Program Officer of PCE was conferred with the Certificate of Appreciation by the Namakkal District Administration for his contributions. Awards and certificates were also presented to students who participated in various activities, including NCC, NSS, Blood Donation Campaigns and cultural events.
Smt Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions, K.Senthil, Director Admissions, Dr.R.R.Krishnamurthy, Director Research, Principals, COE, Heads of the Departments, faculty members and students were also present.
