The programme commenced with a prayer song by Ms. R. Gomathisri, III B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS), and Ms. K. Sahaana, II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS). The event was compered by Ms. S. Inbashree, III B.Sc. Computer Science. Ms. R. Mamathiy, II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS), delivered the Welcome Address, followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest by Ms. M. S. Monica, II B.Sc. Computer Science (AI & DS).

The resource person, Dr. Ramani Singaravel, Managing Director, Optimus Technocrates (India) Pvt. Ltd., delivered an insightful lecture on “Essentials of Artificial Intelligence and Cryptography.” The session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and modern Cryptography. The speaker explained the evolution of AI, its workflow, various types, capabilities, and its diverse applications across sectors such as healthcare, education, finance, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and cybersecurity.

The lecture also emphasized the importance of data privacy, digital security, and secure communication systems in today’s technology-driven world.
