On 15.07.2026, the Department of Tamil, Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, organized a series of competitions at Madhuram Hall to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Karmaveerar Kamarajar. The events included Speech, Essay Writing, Poetry, and Drawing Competitions, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and pay tribute to the great leader.

The Essay Writing Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 21 first- and second-year students. S. Subasini of II B.Com (CA) secured the First Prize, while M. Rithika of I B.Sc. AI & DS won the Second Prize.

The Speech Competition saw the participation of eight students. V. Durgasri of I B.Com secured the First Prize, and S. Abinayasri of I B.Sc. Computer Science won the Second Prize.

In the Poetry Competition, 16 students participated and showcased their creativity and literary skills. T. Mounisha of II B.Sc. Computer Science secured the First Prize, while N. Dhanya Shree of I B.Sc. Computer Science won the Second Prize.

The Drawing Competition attracted 14 participants, who displayed their artistic talents with great enthusiasm. K. Poovarsi of I B.Sc. Computer Science won the First Prize, and T. Swathi of I B.Com secured the Second Prize.

The programme concluded with the congratulation of all the winners for their outstanding performances and active participation. The event served as a fitting tribute to Karmaveerar Kamarajar by encouraging students to express their creativity, knowledge, and communication skills while remembering his invaluable contributions to education and society.
