On 05.06.2026, Paavai Arts and Science College for Women celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental sustainability.

As part of the celebration, an environmental pledge was administered to create awareness about the importance of protecting and preserving nature. A quiz competition was also organized for the faculty members to enhance their knowledge of environmental issues and sustainable practices. Prizes were awarded to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The institution was honored to welcome Dr. Wesley, YRC Coordinator from Arignar Anna Government Arts College, as the Chief Guest for the event. His valuable presence and inspiring address enriched the program and motivated the participants to take an active role in environmental conservation.
