The International Literacy Day celebration, held on 8th September 2025 by the Department of English at Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, was both informative and engaging. The event effectively highlighted the importance of literacy in shaping a knowledgeable and empowered society.

Students actively participated in a variety of activities, including a quiz, Author’s Corner, British vs. American English comparison, jumbled words, a literacy pledge, and a talk on the significance of the day.
