Pavai Arts and Science College for Women proudly hosted the Ceremony of Installation of Office Bearers of All Associations for the academic year 2025–2026 on August 7, 2025, in Dheeram Hall. The ceremony began with a soulful prayer song, followed by the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, setting a dignified tone for the event. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions, along with other dignitaries, lit the ceremonial lamp, marking the commencement of the program.
Shri CA N. V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Institutions, delivered the presidential address. He emphasized the importance of leadership qualities, decision-making, and integrity in leadership. He urged student leaders to be role models who inspire their peers, motivating them to excel in their roles. Ms. M. Sumitha, I B.Sc. AI&DS, welcomed the gathering.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Subasri Sriram, Director of BNI and President of the Rotary Club of Erode, Thindal, was introduced by R. Mamathiy, I B.Sc. AI&DS. As the newly appointed office bearers received their badges and sashes, the hall resonated with applause. Ms. Subasri Sriram administered the oath of responsibilities and highlighted the significance of leadership qualities, effective communication, and accountability. She stressed the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect in achieving common goals.
During the interactive session, students posed thoughtful questions, and Ms. Subasri Sriram shared her personal experiences, challenges, and valuable insights. Drawing inspiration from leaders such as Ratan Tata, Shantanu, and Leena Nair, she encouraged students to strive for excellence. She also shared practical tips on time management, prioritization, and stress management—skills essential for effective student leadership.
Smt. Mangai Natarajan felicitated the gathering and emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment, leadership, and responsibility. She underscored the vital role of women in shaping society and encouraged students to take up leadership positions with confidence.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Rachel Miraclin, I B.A. English, followed by the National Anthem.
