Paavai Educational Institutions celebrated its 21st Graduation Day Ceremony on 08.08.2026 at Anandha Arangam to honour the students who successfully completed their respective programmes. The ceremony was organised for graduating students of Paavai College of Engineering, Pavai Arts & Science College for Women, Paavai College of Pharmacy and Research, Paavai College of Nursing and Research, Paavai Allied and Health Science and Paavai College of Education. Shri C.A.N.V Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions gave the presidential address. Dr. Hepsi Rachel Chellarani, Principal, Paavai College of Nursing and Research, delivered the welcome address.
Dr. Tadary Madhukar Subbarao, Dean, PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, was the Chief Guest. He stated that the day was a proud and memorable milestone in the students educational journey. He said that their professional growth journey begins from this point and encouraged them to utilize the knowledge, discipline, skills and values acquired during their college education to progress in their career. He advised the graduates to continuously develop their values, leadership qualities, decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
Addressing the graduates from various disciplines, he highlighted their role in the future development of their respective fields. He emphasized that graduates in paramedical disciplines would play a vital role in supporting the healthcare sector. He explained that pharmacists assist patients by providing guidance on the proper use, dosage and safety of medicines prescribed by doctors and help ensure that treatment procedures are followed effectively. He highlighted the pioneering contribution of Florence Nightingale to the nursing profession and allied health science professionals. He stated that physiotherapists play significant roles in the healthcare system and engineers possess the ability to develop innovative solutions and new inventions with the support of technology.
He urged every graduate to learn something new every day and continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills in accordance with emerging technologies. He insisted the students to understand the work with honesty, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility. He encouraged them to set ambitious goals and work towards achieving them through continuous effort, hard work and focused dedication. More than 800 students who participated in the ceremony were proudly conferred their degrees. R.M.Shanmuganathan, Robotics and Automation, Paavai College of Technology, who secured the First Rank at the University level in Engineering, was honoured with a cash prize of ₹1,00,000. S.Harini, Geology, who secured the First Rank in Pavai Arts and Science College for women, was awarded a cash prize of ₹50,000.The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, following the Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. Hariharan, Principal, Pavai College of Engineering.
