The Tamil Forum of Paavai Educational Institutions organised “பாவை விருதுகள்’25 – ஆன்றோர் முற்றம்” in a splendid and grandiose manner on 29th November 2025 in Anandha Arangam to honour the distinguished and encouraging Literary achievers who sculpt our world with their insightful works, which are inspiring and enthralling the mind of the readers and listeners. The programme commenced with a Prayer song followed by Tamil thai vazithu.
Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions delivered his presidential address in which he explained the purpose of literature in everyone’s life. He welcomed the esteemed award presenter Mr.R.Balakrishnan, IAS (Rtd) and Director, International Institute of Tamil Studies (World Tamil Reseach Institute), all the awardees, special invitees and guest, Management members, Directors, Principals, Deans, COEs, HoDs, Faculty members and Students of Paavai Institutions.
Mr.R.Balakrishnan, IAS (Rtd) and Director, International Institute of Tamil Studies, Chennai graced the occasion as a distinguished special guest and award presenter. He addressed that, awards are presented to the distinguished scholars, writers, poets, and achievers who have made remarkable contributions to Tamil language and literature. He stated that the awardees are deserving personalities as their contribution to the society through their own forms of language, literature, story, culture, science, society, child welfare, story section, translation and history were remarkable. He added that he went through the achievements of the awardees and was contented with their accomplishments in their respective fields.
Dr.M.Rajendran, IAS (Rtd) was bestowed with the prestigious “Lifetime achievement award”, Senior Creator Special award was presented to Story Book Writer Shri. Kalapriya, film Director Mr. Abhshan jeevinth as Tamil Thirai Vithagar. Tamil Literary Honorary awards were presented to Poet Mr. Veiyel for his poetry, Writer Smt. S.Tamilselvi for her Tamil Books, Writer Mr.Pavannan for his Short-Story Books, Writer Mr. Athi Valliyapan for Children’s literature, Mrs. Ramya Vasudevan for her Tamil Story Telling and Mr. Kadarkaraai for his Tamil historical research.
All the Paavai Award recipients graciously shared their thoughtful insights and reflections on their life journey to preserve and promote Tamil literary heritage. Paavai Institutions always cherishes and celebrates the invaluable contributions of achievers across all disciplines, for they are the architects of our collective wisdom and the guardians of our shared humanity. The programme concluded with the Vote of thanks by Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions. The function was attended by Special invitees and guests, Management members, Directors, Principals, Deans, COEs, HoDs, Faculty members, and Students of Paavai Institutions.
